Many people today have fast-paced stressful lifestyles and find themselves dissatisfied with their health, weight and general wellbeing. So often they turn to fad diets and sporadic exercise binges, sometimes loosing some weight but end up gaining it back plus some. Some become injured but most lose interest or burn out. We are becoming more aware of the necessity of maintaining a healthy weight and the importance of strength and fitness to living an active lifestyle with a high quality of life.
If we want to enjoy life to the fullest and enjoy our journey with a vibrant healthy body, we need to make ourselves a priority. Health is more than just the absence of disease. Health is having energy, stamina, balance and a zest for life. Our bodies require strength to carry out our daily activities, participate in sports and enjoy leisure time. A healthy body is able to get through the challenges and stresses of modern life with resilience.
Too often our bodies are burdened with high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, heart disease and many other ailments. There is a lot we can do to reverse these conditions and prevent them in the first place. If you are one of the people who want to live a healthier lifestyle, you will need to make a commitment to yourself. You are important! Take care of yourself.
To be truly healthy, you need to be strong and fit not only in body, but also in mind and spirit. You need to be balanced and strong on all levels. You need to develop healthy attitude towards food and see it as the high quality fuel that moves our body through life.

My approach to fitness and exercise is somewhat unique but this has brought so much growth into my own life on every level. I have done two body-building competitions, the scariest thing I could every imagine for me.
